CHARNWOOD COMMUNITY THEATRE

Charnwood Community Theatre was  an amateur drama group based in Loughborough, Leicestershire, performing in the Charnwood and North-West Leicestershire area from 2000 to 2018. Its regular performance venue in Loughborough for many years was Fearon Hall on Rectory Road, but the group also took  entertainment to Village Halls and similar small venues which normally see little live theatre.

It was a very informal group, with no membership fees or ongoing commitment, trying to avoid the 'baggage' that often goes with the AmDram scene.

The former members of CCT still enjoy "doing stuff" around theatre (and going to the pub), and are always on the lookout for new projects to get involved in.
